Annual BP Days

On August 2nd, New Athens firefighter Billy Dachsteiner suffered a hemorrhagic stroke while responding to a call for a vehicle accident. His fellow brothers quickly stepped into action and provided immediate medical care and transfer to a local hospital. This stroke has left Billy with deficits to his left arm and leg, requiring him to use a wheelchair. While he continues to get progressively better, he has a long road ahead of him with rehabilitation and therapy to return to a normal quality of life.

The Bullpen benefit coordinators have promptly stepped into action to unite our community and come together to help selfless citizen of our village.

On October 26th, we will be hosting our 2nd Annual BP Days - Party in the Parking Lot. All events will start at 10 a.m. and last throughout the entire day. There will be an Amazing Race Bicycle (not poker) Run, a washer tournament, live music, a chicken & beer dance, entertainment for the kiddos, vendor fair, food & drink tents, a car show, bonfires, 50/50's, raffle drawings, and much more!
