About Us

Vizcaya Winery, located just 7 miles south of the Ten-Mile/I-84 exit at 8987 S Greenhurst Rd, Kuna, is owned and operated by Larry and Kay Hansen. Our desire to have a winery grew from our love of viticulture and wine.

We started growing Tempranillo and other varietals in 2004 on our Windy Ridge Estate vineyard. After several years of providing grapes for other wineries, we decided to venture into producing our own wine. We now have two vineyards and are offering eight estate wines at our tasting room. Our 2011 Tempranillo was awarded a double gold/best of class, 2012 Tempranillo was recognized by Wine Business Monthly as one of the top 9 in the Northwest , 2014 received platinum! Every vintage is medal winner! We have also won awards with our Albarino, Pinot Gris, Rose', Malbec, and Windy Ridge Red. Our 2021 Albarino was a double gold in the San Francisco Chronicle!
