Hailey Memorial Day Ceremony
Please join as the community comes together to commemorate Memorial Day. We seek to honor not only our veterans and active military personnel, but also all those who are tirelessly working to keep us safe. We are incredibly grateful for their unwavering commitment and sacrifice.
Leading up to the ceremony, on Friday, May 24th, 2024, we will be setting out flags and carnations to honor over 440 veterans’ graves. The Hailey Cemetery will be decorated from dusk Friday May 24 to dusk Monday May 27th.
This solemn tradition is a way for us to show our appreciation for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Additionally, we will place a Memorial wreath on the Blaine County Veterans monument in the cemetery.
We will keep you up to date on the ceremony, including the event schedule and other important details. The Hailey Cemetery Memorial Day Committee is looking forward to gathering to celebrate our veterans and first responder community.

”We honor the true meaning of Memorial Day.”
“We take this time to remember and honor the men and women who have given their lives for this great country. Let us reflect on their courage, their sacrifice, and their dedication to a cause greater than themselves. And let us recommit ourselves to the cause of freedom, justice, and democracy, so that the legacy of our fallen heroes will live on for generations to come. We continue to mourn their loss, but most of all, we celebrate their lives.”
