The Hyde Park Street Fair is an annual festival held every fall in Boise to raise funds for FINE Grants and community programs. It usually lasts a weekend and includes vendors, kid activities, exotic foods, live performances, community entertainers, and a wine garden.

Oktoberfest, Nampa, ID

Trailing of the Sheep Festival, Hailey, Ketchum, Sun Valley, ID

Sheep herding is part of Idaho's cultural identity, and the Trailing of the Sheep festival, held every fall, keeps the tradition alive. The festival takes place over several days through the towns of Hailey, Ketchum, and Sun Valley. You can find workshops, wool classes, lamb-showcased cooking classes, sheepdog trials, picnics, and more. The big event, called the Big Sheep Parade, sees 1,500 sheep herded down Main Street in Ketchum. 

Idaho Spud Day, Shelley, ID

On the third Saturday of every September, Idahoans flock to Shelley to celebrate the humble potato. The tradition is going strong with over 90 years of history. Activities include the Miss Russet Pageant, Tater Trot, a 5K run/walk, a pancake breakfast, parades, and more.

Thousand Springs Festival of the Arts, Hagerman, ID
