Christina Potters Ice Rink
The Christina Potters Outdoor Ice Rink is the largest of its kind in the Pacific Northwest. It is a non-refrigerated human made rink that measures almost two acres.
The rink is open for about a two-month period each winter from around the December holidays through what we locals call "Presidents' Week" in about mid-February. Rink conditions and operating hours are entirely weather dependent; when it snows, we have to plow and when it gets too warm, the rink is too soft for skating. We make every effort to keep the rink open from dawn until dusk seven days a week. Our Recreation Center at Atkinson Park is open seven days a week from 10:00 to 5:00 when the rink is open, excluding the holidays of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and Presidents' Day.
