Windsor Heights Foundation Presents Celebrate America
Celebrate America with Des Moines' favorite teacher driven band, Faculty Lounge! It's always exciting to have them back!
A bit of a different twist this time.... due to park renovations, we cannot have fireworks this year, so we are having our Windsor Heights Foundation's Celebration on Tuesday July 2nd from 6pm, to 9pm. (Don't worry.... things will be back to normal next year! Please bear with us!)
Plan on spending the the whole evening with us dancing and having a great time! Don't worry about dinner.... we got that covered! We have some of the best food trucks in Des Moines, including Thirsty Pigs, Big Mama's Bistro, Flame, Karam's Grill and Street Sweets!
Parking won't be a problem.... While there are still some spots in the park and along the street as usual, Walmart has graciously allowed us to park in the southwest corner of their lot. Please don't park close to the building or auto area - leave that for their customers. All you do it park, grab your lawn chair and hop on the trail and walk around the corner to the park! Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!
Wear your most patriotic clothes and come join us! We may not have fireworks this year, but we will still have a BLAST!!
