Race Against Racism 5K
Join us on Saturday, September 28th for Race Against Racism!
Whether a runner, walker, or someone who just wants to be part of the movement to RACE AGAINST RACISM, we can’t wait to welcome EVERYONE to Schweibert Park in Rock Island for the 6th annual RACE AGAINST RACISM, a race for people of all ages! The event includes a (timed) 5k run/walk and an (un-timed) 1-mile fun run/walk, both taking runners and walkers on the bike-path along the beautiful Mississippi River. Proceeds from this event support YWCA Quad Cities’ social, justice, youth, and advocacy programs. This is a timed event, with a results tent and awards going to top 3 female and male overall finishers.

Race participants receive a 2024 race t-shirt and access to an exciting race after-party held at Steve's Old Time Tap, Rock Island.
