Runners will experience the tall grass prairie, woodlands, and maybe even some wildlife! In addition, grass surfaces will cushion the strides of each runner. Immediately following the events, snacks and refreshments will be served and prizes will be awarded. Proceeds from the trail race will serve to benefit the natural resources and sustainability of Jasper County through the help of our non-profit group, Jasper Conservation Connection.
Event details and schedule
THE EVENT- "Off the Beaten Path" trail race and fun run/walk will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Jacob Krumm Nature Preserve, Jasper County Iowa; beginning at 9:00 a.m. (8:00-8:45 Registration at Ahrens Access).
AWARDS- The first, second, and third place winners of each of the age categories for the 6K and 3K race will receive awards. Categories are: 14 and younger, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
