Madrid Labor Day Celebration

The Madrid Labor Day Celebration is held Labor Day weekend each year, and is a great time to visit Madrid, Iowa. With great music, exciting tournaments, family events, an amazing car show, fireworks, and a parade, there's something for everyone!

One Moore Run:

The race will start and end near Pit Stop Smoothies and will occur on the High Trestle Trail.

7:45 am: One Mile Run
$15 registration; deadline is 8/17
$20 registration; between 8/17 and 8/29
Discount for runners 18 and younger is available.

8:00 am: 5K
$30 registration; deadline is 8/17
$35 registration; between 8/17 and 8/29

100% pay out to top three teams each day!
Cost: $30 per team
Saturday: 11:00 am registration. Play starts at noon. Located at Jensen park.
Sunday: 11:00 am registration. Play starts at noon. Located at Edgewood park basketball court.

11:00 am: Bench Press Competition - Veteran's square across from the VFW

Weigh in at 10:00 am.
Starts at 11:00 am.
Participants age 7 and older.
25 dollar fee. Pre-registration required and ends August 26th.

8:00 am: Co-Ed Slow Pitch Softball Tournament - Edgewood Park
