Stomp Out Hunger 5k Run and 1Mile Walk
Hale Kau Kau continues to deliver 100 meals to the homebound elderly and/or disabled each day and serves a hot meal each day to anyone who comes by the kitchen at dinner time, currently we are serving about 40-50 complete hot meals from the kitchen each evening. . In order to continue to feed those who are hungry, we must rely on the generosity of our many supporters. Through our fundraisers, friends of Hale Kau Kau continue to donate and support our mission to feed the hungry with compassion and aloha.
This year we are planning to have our 9th Annual Stomp Out Hunger 5k & 1M Walk fundraiser The event will be on Saturday October 26th (HALLOWEEN WEEKEND) . There will be door prizes and a Halloween Costume Contest. We are also looking for sponsors to support our efforts to put on a quality event as well as raise the needed funds for our meal program.
