Each year in early November, film lovers and movie makers from around the world unite at the Hawaii International Film Festival. Running for more than 30 years, festival attendees are treated to Asian and Pacific films, documentaries, and shorts. Numerous famous movies have premiered at the Hawaii International Film Festival, so you know you’re sure to see something great. 

Festivals of Aloha, Multiple locations

The annual Festivals of Aloha celebrate Hawaiian culture with parades, live music, and pageantry. Numerous vendors attend this festival, some selling their best food dishes and others touting their handicrafts and goods. The Festivals of Aloha run from early September through mid-October, but the dates depend on the island on which they are held.
