Our Mission

The mission of The Bowen Center for the Arts is to provide a canvas for creating, appreciating, and participating in the arts for the Georgia and Southeast Community who seek high-quality unique experiences through artist workshops, artist exhibitions, and performing arts.

Functions of the Center for the Arts:

-Visual and performing arts events
-Classes offered in all areas of the Fine Arts – Visual, Language and Performing Arts
-Cultural History exhibits
-Community Outreach
-Civic & Non-Profit Venue

Vision Statement

-Become a destination for Artists and workshops
-Create a unique gift shop and offer online sales
-Provide more performing arts and offer diversity in performances
-Become the most recognized art center in North Georgia and beyond
-Be “The” artist’s place to exhibit
-Enhance social media and web presence
-Provide high-quality unique experiences
-Become self-sufficient financially
-Increase membership to include more people with “buy in” to the Bowen
