The Benefit Film Festival
The Benefit Film Festival (BFF) is unlike any other film festival. We believe in supporting independent filmmakers, particularly women and people of color. That's why we don't charge filmmakers a submission fee, which can be a huge barrier to entry in the already competitive and financially demanding process of filmmaking. We want to provide filmmakers with the opportunity to not only showcase their work to friends and family but to network with other filmmakers, distributors, agents, managers and film industry members - for free.
Beyond providing access to this showcase platform, BFF also offers participating filmmakers portions of the profits from the festival so that they can continue to invest in their craft and share their gift with the world. This year, BFF is showcasing filmmakers and actors who are students of the Anthony Meindl’s Actor Workshop (AMAW) Atlanta studio. BFF will also use a portion of the profit to benefit the AMAW Atlanta studio so it can continue to provide scholarships to and high-quality training for actors and filmmakers.
