Typewriter Tom returns for "From the Trenches to the Iron Curtain: Typewriters in Wartime"
Discover the unsung heroes of communication—typewriters that played pivotal roles during times of conflict. Typewriter Tom returns with an interactive exhibit that will give museum-goers an opportunity to type on some of the actual typewriters used from WWI through the Cold War.
Typewriters from Remington, Underwood, Corona, Royal, Olympia and many others were all there to tell the story from the trenches of Verdun to the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Visitors can explore the typewriter's evolution and the role it played during wartime.
