Calling all yoga teachers; calling all yoga students! Explore the true potential of your yoga teaching and practice by learning how to tailor poses to fit the unique needs of every body. This full-day intensive is designed to equip you with the foundational and practical skills necessary to modify yoga postures, ensuring they meet the individual needs of each student in a group setting. Have you ever felt discomfort in a pose and then discovered a modification that brought ease and comfort? This experience highlights the importance of personalizing yoga poses to enhance your practice.
Led by senior yoga teacher, Jennifer French, who brings over 18 years of teaching experience, this intensive will guide you through the exploration of key yoga poses, focusing on maintaining their essence while adapting them for various common challenges. In your time with Jennifer, you will:
·Discover how to identify and address common physical challenges in key yoga poses.
·Practice maintaining the integrity of a pose while applying personalized modifications.
·Develop strategies to confidently adjust postures for students in a group setting.
This workshop is part of The Yoga Sanctuary’s Mentorship Program and, when taken on its own, is eligible for Continuing Education hours with the Yoga Alliance.
