On September 28th from 2 to 4:30 p.m. members of the North Florida Poetry Hub and A Gathering of Poets will pull out their soapboxes as they host an open mic and juried Art Show at the Southeast Regional Library! Join other poets, musicians, and artists worldwide in a stimulating celebration to promote peace, sustainability, and justice, and to call for serious social, environmental, and political change.
Award-winning poet and songsmith Chris Kastle from St Augustine will regale us with song and well-known award-winning author and poet Sally Constain Wahl, will be there to share some of her poetry. The art show is to feature work in conjunction with the theme of 100K Poets for Change. The juried show is open to all artists, ages 13 years and up, and allows for any artistic media. First and second-place winners in the categories of 13-18 and 19+ will be announced at the end of the open mic readings.
