The action takes place during the author's stay in Ljubljana, where he is invited to give a master lecture on the famous myth of Narcissus. The discovery of a disturbing bloodstain in the hotel room, which is impossible to clean, will give rise to a police intrigue that will begin to unveil the macabre details of a highly violent crime.
