Humane Society of Broward County
The Humane Society of Broward County was founded in 1944. Our mission: Advocating for and imporving the lives of animals by providing adoptions, community services and education. In addition to adoptions, the HSBC provides low-cost spay/neuter services and microchipping and vaccines, volunteer opportunities, free educational presentations and more. The HSBC is a private, non-profit organization supported by donations from people and companies who want to help us help the animals. The shelter receives no government funding and is not affiliated with any local or national organization with a similar name.Â
