Florida Dragstrip Riot

Pre 1979 Nostalgia Drags and show n shine. Celebrating the glory years of American Drag Racing.

Gates open 7am, track hot at 9:30

6:30AM: FDR Staff, vendors and swap meet only enter in lane 3 outside front gate/ticket booth. Vendors/Swap Meet will be escorted to your area. If you have questions, call before the show. If you’re at the show, find someone with a Drag Strip Riot White/Black official shirt. that person will have a radio to get you an answer.

STAFF: You will need your Dragstrip Riot credential filled out. You will be issued a wristband at the ticket gate. Staff at the back entrance gate, you will be told where to park. Staff report to Satan Speed Shop trailer, for assignments.

7AM: Gates open

9:15AM - 9:30AM:  Track Hot for Time Runs; Registration.

11:15AM: END Time runs; Registration.

10:45AM-11:30AM: Grand Marshal autographs at the Dragstrip Riot T-shirt booth on the vendor midway.

11:30AM: Mandatory Drivers meeting. Starter rules. Flag start procedures. Safety! Having fun. SO BE THERE! Bring a mask. OW will pull numbers for B Main

11:45AM: Open wheel should be paired up and, in the lanes,

11:50AM: Gasser’s will be paired up by time runs in the lanes. See Don Moyer’s 1/4 mile classes and Hal conner’s 1/8 mile classes with your dial in

11:55AM: S/SS will be paired up by time runs in the lanes See Samuel Branch with your dial in

11:55AM: Opening Ceremonies begin. Grand Marshal Induction/pictures and Presentation.

12:00pm (Noonish): National anthem, God Bless America.

All class lanes are open.

Gassers and Super Stock will be called to lanes, for your elimination rounds.

Round 2 OW, exhibition Racecars at 3PM

Finals on or about 5PM
(Gassers and Super Stock) You are responsible to get your “Dial-in’s” to Don Moyer or Hal Conner for Gassers and Samuel Branch for S/SS for first round pairing. After first round, the track/OSW will supply next round pairings.

Any questions day of event, Denise Renee, is in charge of the lanes. She will have a black Dragstrip Riot official shirt!!

Race Rotation of the Event
Open Wheel Class: Heads Up Flag Start 1/4 mile.
Gassers: Tree Start 10th Incremental 1/4 & 1/8 mile.
S/SS: Tree Start 10th Incremental 1/4 mile.
Exhibition: Heads-Up tree start 1/4 mile.
Classic Door Car Slick Tire: Heads Up Tree Start   
Classic Street Door Slammer Street Tire: Heads Up Tree Start
Vintage Drag Race Motorcycles: Heads Up Tree Start
Race-Hard/Finish-First All Performance Super Center and HPL Oil are the class sponsors of the Florida Dragstrip Riot event. FOUR fastest cars from every class, will be announced, after each round of qualifying.
Orlando Speed World will do all they can to keep this event moving.
Understand that if we have a crash or oil down, it takes time to clean up the track.

5PM: Finals
You will be called to the lanes.

Saturday’s event Payouts/Finals
Trophies for 1st Only.
4 Fastest Cars in each Class at the end of the day will be asked to the line to run the finals.

First-Place in your class, will be a Gift-Certificate to RHFF and HPL
