The exhibit, Bodies of Water by Rebecca Pujals-Jones is on display now through Tuesday, June 11, 2024, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, Clerk’s Office at Ocala City Hall, 110 SE Watula Ave. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
Rebecca Pujals-Jones is a fine art and commercial photographer based in Central Florida. She is passionate about protecting Florida’s waterways and utilizes ambrotype photography as a medium for her water activism in Bodies of Water.
Bodies of Water is a long-term project and traveling exhibition focusing on the urgent need for water preservation and protection across Florida. This exhibition is funded by the Puffin Foundation and community partnerships with Citrus County Historical Society, College of Central Florida, and Franklin Anderson Gallery of Arts. The ambrotypes selected for display at City Hall, highlight at-risk waterways throughout Central Florida, such as Crystal River, Chassahowitzka River, and Tsala Apopka Lakes.
