The theme for this year's iconic StoryBook Festival is "The Future is STEAMed" and will focus on science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Geared toward children ages 10 and under, the festival provides a magical experience that encourages a love of reading and libraries through presentations by award-winning storytellers and literature-based performance groups. It is also an exciting way for the community to learn about Broward County Library's vast array of free programs and resources for all ages. Families can meet cartoonist Judd Winick, the New York Times bestselling author of Hilo! Winick has also written for Marvel, DC Comics and created The Life and Times of Juniper Lee for Cartoon Network.

Swappin' Ground: Special place where children tell stories and hear storytellers
City of Pembroke Pines Art & Cultural Center student performers
Arts & Crafts with Pembroke Pines Recreation & Cultural Arts Department
Fantasy Forest Tours featuring classic storybook characters
Costume Parade; kids may wear costumes and join the parade
