Creative Clay Cultural Arts Center
Creative Clay's vision is to make the arts accessible for all.
Creative Clay's mission is to provide expressive, educational and vocational opportunities in the arts for people with obstacles to arts access. We serve people with developmental, physical and emotional disabilities, as well as people in healthcare settings, children, veterans, and provide outreach art experiences in our community.
Creative Clay’s wide range of innovative programs, as well as its special events, celebrate community and the richness of our local and regional arts.
We now have seven arts programs to serve various populations who traditionally have been marginalized. Creative Clay programs include Community Arts, Creative Care, Artlink, Transition, Open Studio, Summer Youth Arts Camp and Summer Studio. These programs serve hundreds of individuals every week.
Creative Clay events include large annual celebrations such as the folk art and folk music festival Folkfest St. Pete, Creative Clay Happy Hour at American Stage and monthly 2nd Saturday Art Walks.
Creative Clay is committed to promoting the work created by its member artists through bimonthly art exhibitions in our Good Folk Gallery and various public venues throughout the greater Tampa Bay region. Please contact Jody or Kim at Creative Clay for information on having a Creative Clay Good Folk Gallery exhibit in your home or office!
