Alachua County Veterans Day Celebration

This community event is open to everyone and aims to honor the bravery and sacrifice of all American veterans.

The festivities will kick off with breakfast and music at 9:00am followed by a variety of engaging activities designed to celebrate our veterans. At 11:00 AM, a thrilling skydiving performance will launch the program.

The celebration will feature:

- Wreath Laying Ceremony to pay tribute to our fallen heroes

- Flag Ceremony honoring the American flag

- Military Displays highlighting the history and service of our armed forces

- Guest Speakers sharing inspiring stories and reflections

- Drill Team Demonstrations showcasing military precision and teamwork

- Patriotic Music to stir our national pride

- Military and Organizational Tents providing information and resources

- Veterans’ Health Administration Resources to assist veterans in accessing important services

- We are pleased to announce additional parking availability to accommodate all attendees.

This event is proudly brought to you by Alachua County Veteran Services, in collaboration with the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, the Alachua County Veterans Memorial Committee, and various veteran and nonprofit organizations.
