Embark on a summer of imagination and creativity with our annual Read & Make Adventures, presented in partnership with the Dover Public Library! Every Thursday from June 20 to August 15 (excluding July 4), join us for a captivating journey through storytelling and hands-on crafting.
This free program is a delightful fusion of literature and art, perfect for children ages 4-9 (though younger ones are welcome with parental assistance, and all ages can participate). No registration required -- simply drop by and immerse yourself in the magic of reading and creativity.
Each week unveils a new theme, promising excitement and discovery for young minds. Settle in as a Dover Public Library librarian treats you to a selection of enchanting stories that transport you to far-off lands, sparks your imagination, and inspire creativity.
After the stories, dive into the world of art at The Biggs Museum as we explore pieces on display and unleash our creativity through a hands-on art activity. From cute animals to fairy tale adventures, hot air balloons to mermaid ocean escapades, there's something to captivate every child's imagination.
Join us for a summer of fun, learning, and creativity at the 2024 Read-and-Make Adventures. We can't wait to embark on this magical journey with you!
