Historically, this site was originally built by the DuPont Corporation for its employees in 1955 and was called Louviers Country Club. Fifty-one years later, Deerfield now offers an on-site restaurant, driving range, full course, and putting green.
Back Creek Golf Course, Middletown, DE
Fresh off from their 2017 Best of Delaware Award, Back Creek offers over 70 years of history and was once reportedly land owned by Delaware's first governor, Joshua Clayton. Although the surrounding area has now grown up, the course still feels secluded and comfy as it is a walking only course, and golf rangers regularly patrol the grounds keeping them neat and tidy.
