Lewes Tulip Festival

The City of Lewes will celebrate its Dutch Heritage April 09-11, 2015 when over 10,000 tulip bulbs bloom in our City Parks. Our gardens will display a wide range of tulip varieties. Activities, exhibits and contests will be offered to the public during the weekend: photography exhibit contest and workshop, Plein Air Artists, and trolley tours. Stop in at the many shops around town and get a tulip stamped on your town map. Also visit the Zwaanendael Museum for special Dutch exhibits. This weekend will be filled with enjoyment for everyone as they walk through our parks, along the canal, and throughout the town of Lewes. Lewes in Bloom donated the proceeds of their Fall Tulip sales to augment the purchase of 10,000 new tulip bulbs.
