Originally established in 1796 by the Mitchell family, the Woodside Farm has been a dairy farm off and on again for the better part of the past 220 years. The current creamery of today was re-established in 1995, using the milk from their 30-plus Jersey cows. The Woodside Farm was celebrated in 1996 as being one of the few remaining Centennial farms in the state of Delaware. They even have bacon-flavored ice cream!
