Capital Fringe Festival

Capital Fringe’s annual festival is the only unjuried, self-producing live performance festival in the Washington, DC area. Since 2006, we have presented 16 festivals featuring over 52,350 artists to an audience of 393,234 ticket buyers. The festival has generated over $2.5 million in artist revenue. At our most recent festival in July 2023, 50% of available tickets were sold, resulting in a total payout of $83,908 to participants, with an average artist payout of $2,097 (a $425 increase from 2022).
