Constance, an aspiring pundit, and Owen, a struggling journalist, meet in an old house near Dupont Circle one Sunday afternoon after the farmers market. Both are young and Catholic, but on opposite sides politically. Nevertheless, they're weary of the alienation that often accompanies single life in Washington and try to forge a connection. But the election is approaching.
