Wickham Summer XC Series Race 4
This will be the 33'rd edition of the annual Wickham Park Cross Country Summer Series covering a challenging 2.6 mile +/- course. The series consists of 5 Monday evening races to be held starting at 6:30PM. We'll use a points system this year for the full series age group awards. Racers under 18 require a parent or guardian's approval and should be capable of completing the course in less than 45 minutes without supervision.
We encourage participants to take advantage of the opportunity to register for the full series at a discounted price + lower fees. (Walkup registration accepted by cash or check made out to Silk City Striders)
Free entry to park for race participants, Spectators pay the regular fee which supports the up-keep of the park and no restrictions on exploring the park while runners warm-up and cool-down after the race.
Net proceeds from participant fees to benefit Manchester High School Shoe Fund which provides running shoes to student athletes that cannot afford them.
