Featuring her much loved songs, Tina – The Tina Turner Musical is written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Katori Hall.
American's Idol Jayna Elise has been cast in the starring role of Tina Turner. Formerly known as Jayna Brown, Elise has appeared on stages with the likes of Tyler Perry, Queen Latifah, and more with her biggest appearances being on the hit TV shows, "America's Got Talent" and "American Idol"; both for which she was a finalist.
Doors Open
Lobby doors open one hour prior to showtime, theatre doors open approx. 30 minutes prior to show. Latecomers may be asked to wait in the lobby until a time that will cause the least disturbance to the audience members already seated.
This event kicks-off Shubert Theatre's Holiday Food and Toy Drive — please consider bringing donations of non-perishable food items and new, unwrapped toys when you attend events at the theatre through the holidays. Donations will be distributed to New Haven families in need. Thank you!
