Pickleball Smash-It Grand Opening at Tanger at Foxwoods

MASHANTUCKET, Conn. (Nov. 1, 2024) – Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods invites guests to get swept away in the pickleball craze when Pickleball Smash-It opens at the Mashantucketshopping destination on Friday, Nov. 1. The no-membership-required club is set to host its Grand Opening with the Mystic Chamber of Commerce starting at 1 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting at 1:45 p.m. There will be free two-hour Open Play sessions, raffles and a pickleball giveaway to every guest who participates in Open Play. Sessions must be reserved in advance at pickleballsmashit.com/tanger-booking.

When Pickleball Smash-It officially opens, it will offer a unique space for private group events and two-hour open-play sessions, along with lessons for adults and youth clinics provided by local coaches. League play starts in January. ​ The 5,600-square-foot facility, located across from Daily Thread, features two indoor, tournament-quality courts outfitted with luxury couches, free Wi-Fi and the ability to control music from players’ own phones.
