Newton Turkey Trot

Welcome to the 15th Annual Newtown Turkey Trot to benefit the C. H. Booth Library. Our event offers the opportunity to kick off your Thanksgiving Day celebrations by participating in a 5K run / walk or  2.5K (1.6 mile) fitness walk. This community event has annually attracted over 1500 participants in recent years and will start and finish from Newtown Middle School (11 Queen Street, Newtown) following the routes introduced in 2019.

Awards:

At this time we plan for there to be a post race awards ceremony where overall and age-group winners collect prizes.

Awards will be available after the race near the finish area. If not collected, they will be made available for collection from the library at a later date or mailed. Results will be streamed during the event to this web site.

Age Groups:

Awards will be given in the following categories:

Top 3 overall in each group
First of each age and gender in all groups
Under 10
10-19
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60-69
70+

Cost:

$45 from 11/1 - 11/20
$50 from 11/21 - 11/28
All prices will have additional processing fees due to transparency laws in CT
