Music Among the Memorials

Enjoy an evening of music with the popular bluegrass band, Five 'n Change. The band’s tight arrangements and unique harmony vocals bring a fresh interpretation to the bluegrass songbook.

The New Haven-based band features Ken McEwen on lead vocals and guitar, Pete Kaufman on banjo, David Sasso on mandolin and vocals, Dave Casali on upright bass, and Ryan Mooney on guitar and dobro.

Formed in 2011, Five ‘n Change has built a catalog of music that showcases the group’s strong vocals, musicianship, and passion for genre busting. Their music is an eclectic balance of American roots music which both reinterprets and redefines the bluegrass songbook.

Bring blankets, chairs, and picnic dinners for a night to remember. The concert will be held on the sprawling lawn between the Garden and Cedar Mausoleums. (Rain Date: July 27, 6:00 pm)
