“Mental Health Matters: 5K For 5K Walk” Registration Deadline June 1 For Walkers, Families, Groups. The Sunday, June 23 5K Walk will be held at White Memorial Park at 80 Whitehall Road in Litchfield from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Hosted by Challenging Minds LLC in Torrington and Bantam this 5Kwill benefit Greenwoods Counseling and Referrals in Litchfield. Donation fees for registrations are $10 per person and $20 per family or group. Challenging Minds will match funds raised to $2,500 with a total goal of $5,000. Challenging Minds offers a holistic approach to both mental health and personal development through clinical and wellness services. Greenwoods Counseling and Referrals is a nonprofit organization that helps individuals and families living and working in Litchfield County to find quality, accessible, and affordable mental health care.
