Lachat Town Farm invites you to join members of the UCONN Invasive Plant Working Group, Pollinator Pathway and Master Gardeners, as we PULL TOGETHER to remove invasive plants from our beloved town farm.
This year, we will be focusing on the riparian buffers at the farm, and we need your help!
Meet: Lachat Town Farm Lower Field
Wear sturdy shoes and tough clothing; ticks and poison ivy love invasive plant patches.
Bring work gloves, hand pruners and water. Tick spray, mosquito spray and Waterproof shoes recommended.
Protective eyewear, gloves and heavy tools provided. In instances of bad weather, we may cancel and will notify all signups.
