“Good Enough” Faith Discussion Group

Are you too hard on yourself? Have you ever wondered what God really wants of you? This 8-week group will meet in the evenings to discuss Kate Bowler’s book “Good Enough”, A compassionate, intelligent, and wry series of Christian daily reflections on learning to live with imperfection in a culture of self-help that promotes endless progress. This discussion group is not designed to provide answers, but to give you an opportunity to explore the path to which God is calling you. It will hosted by The United Methodist Church of Danbury at 5 Clapboard Ridge Rd, Danbury, CT 06811 and led by Shannon Cobb, church affiliate and CEO and President of Ann’s Place. All are welcome. While you are invited to attend all sessions, you can also come to just a few, because life is busy, and we all have to find our own “good enough”. Kate Bowler's book can be bought locally at Beautiful News Books in Bethel or online. Sessions are 7pm, August 13, 20, 27, September 10, 17, 24 October 1, 8.
