Monday, July 22, 2024 from 06:00pm to 08:00pm
Town Hall Green
501 Main Street South
The O-Tones, a hot New England Swing & Motown band, appeals to all ages. With lots of soul, they’ll get your feet dancing. Their songs are well-loved, coming from many different eras. Whether singing an old jazz ballad or punching out a fiery Motown or R&B tune for dancing, audiences have taken to their sound for decades. Their diverse repertoire as a dance band showcases powerful vocal harmonies, a driving rhythm section, soulful tenor sax, blazing guitar solos, and funky keyboard. The older generation feels nostalgic while the younger crowd comes alive hearing the compelling rhythm and melodies. They really understand the groove.
Southbury Parks and Recreation outdoor concerts are free and open to the public. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket. In case of rain, the concerts will be canceled. All concerts will be held on the green next to Southbury Town Hall. Park at 561 Main Street South, Pomperaug Elementary or at the lower parking lot of Town Hall.
