Hike the Metacomet Trail from the Rt 189 bridge over the Farmington River in Tariffville to a viewpoint above the Tariffville Gorge with spectacular views of the Wild & Scenic designated River, then descend to view the rapids frequented by white water paddlers, before retracing our steps.

Meeting Location: North end of the Rt 189 bridge over the Farmington River in Tariffville, CT.
Park off of Rt 189 just north of the bridge over the Farmington River in Tariffville or just across from that location down Old Hartford Avenue.
