Hike with Groton Open Space Association volunteers on their Candlewood Ridge Property. Walk on marked trails through forests of different stages of maturity. The hike is mostly flat with a few short sections of incline. Highlights include a nice vista, large boulders and ledges, an old stone foundation of a building, and possibly blossoming Mountain Laurel.

Meet at the end of Lambtown Road (turn onto the road from Route 184 in Groton). Trailhead parking at the end of Groton’s Lambtown Road which also serves the Avery Farm Nature Preserve’s parking lot.
