Branford Road Race
The Branford Road Race is a Branford tradition founded by Ray Figlewski and Dick Wainman. The races take place annually on Father’s Day and closes out the Branford Festival. The event traditionally draws a crowd of over 5,000 runners, walkers, spectators, and volunteers. The event raises funds for Camp Rising Sun, American Parkinson Disease Association and other community organizations.
The 5 mile race, 2 mile health walk and 1 mile family fun run on the Branford Green. Participants can enjoy t-shirts, refreshments, food, vendors, kids activities, and much more! The Branford Road Race is a great event for the whole family!
Event Schedule:
8:00am: Registration and packet pickup
9:10am: 1 Mile Family Fun Run starts
9:40am: 2 Mile Health Walk starts
9:45am: 5 Mile Race starts
10:15am - 2:00pm: Stony Creek Brewery Post-Race Celebration (ticket purchase required during online registration).
11:00am: 5 Mile Awards
