Be a part of the show!
Founded in 1980, each year,The Connecticut Gilbert & Sullivan Society performs one of Gilbert & Sullivan's comic operettas. This October 19th and 20th, we will be performing The Yeomen of the Guard. The production will take place in Deep River and will be fully staged with sets, costumes, and a 24-piece professional orchestra.
We welcome and encourage new talent and invite all who are interested to join us. Our cast members have various levels of vocal and performance skills and experience and come from a wide variety of backgrounds and professions. Cast members' ages range from school-aged children to retired seniors. They have in common that they enjoy music and live theater and have an itch to be part of the fun. Perhaps that is you.
Auditions for the show will be held in Middletown on June 23rd and 25th. We welcome you to try out for a principal role in the show or be in the men's or women's chorus. And if being on stage is not for you,we are always looking for people to work on building sets and help with other behind-the-scenes production activities.
