The Yeti Chase 5K & 10K take place at beautiful Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood. This is the 15th year for the Yeti Chase, and it has sold out well before race day in all previous years.
After chasing down the Yeti, runners wander the park's 2,500 acres, known for it's diverse bird and waterfowl population as well as stunning views of the foothills. The 5k follows a mostly flat course with gradual ups and downs, while the 10k is a rolling course with more challenging hills. The race offers something for everyone, with Long sleeve gender specific adult size shirts or cotton youth size shirts for all participants, hot chocolate and other yummy post-race food, prize money for the top finishers, and a chance to win a $500 summer stay at one of the Summit Cove properties in Keystone!
