Grand Lake’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is a beloved holiday tradition that brings the community together to celebrate the start of the festive season. Held in the heart of town, the event features the lighting of Grand Lake’s twin trees, planted in honor of longtime residents Louis and Gladys Heckert. Visitors can enjoy a Christmas carol singalong, free hot cocoa, and delicious cookies and of course a visit with Santa and his Reindeers! The ceremony embodies the warmth and charm of Grand Lake, creating a truly unforgettable experience that kicks off the holiday season.
