Dr. Jet’s universe
Jet Eveleth’s Bio: Dr Jet’s Universe is a show for the universe. It speaks to all ages in its exploration of science and comedy. Created by two comedians – one a musician and one a doctor – this show aims to take you on a ride that brings you closer to your human self. Inspired by Pee Wee Herman and Mr Rogers but dedicated to surrealist humor, the show journeys through a musical cosmos of characters and puppets who want to help Dr Jet with her newest invention. Dance, improvisation, and audience interaction brings the element of spontaneity to this theatrical experience. Don’t let your funny bones grow brittle! Defy inertia and get yourself and your children to the laboratory for human adventure!
Jet Eveleth is a comedian and doctor of Integrative Medicine. She is a member of The Reckoning and was a clown in the cirque show Absinthe, described by The Huffington Post as, "Risqué, dangerous and mind-altering. It is poetic, beautiful, inspiring and insulting. The greatest show on earth." Jet directs The Highland Park Clowns and runs Clown Church in Los Angeles. She recently brought her original play Three Sisters Not By Chekhov to the Edinburgh festival. She has performed at the Andy Kaufman Awards and was part of New City Magazine top performers. She toured with The Second City and has studied with Philippe Gaulier. She was the artistic director of the Chicago Improv Festival and a professor of comedy studies at Columbia College. She can be seen in AP Bio (Peacock), Animals (HBO) and The Joe Schmo Show (TBS). She has received a Masters in Interdisciplinary Arts, a Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Doctorate in Integrative Medicine.
"Jet Eveleth is a freaking genius. Full stop. Do yourself the favor of seeing her perform live. I haven’t felt this inspired and delighted in a while. What a gorgeous and heartfelt show of pure joy." -Maria Bamford
"If I could only see one show my entire life, I’d want it to be that."
-The Huffington Post
"Eveleth masterminds the show. She is truly the heart of the show."

8:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m: Butter (Portland)
Butter:
The churning of cream transforms its components into a semi-solid emulsion that’s used to make things better. That product is called butter, so is this comedy show.
It’s not the show that is butter, but those solitary moments that are shared by everyone at the show.
The show will happen if you’re not there, but if you are, you’ll make it a lil’ bit better. See, you were the butter the whole time.
Price: $18/advance and $20/door, ticketing fee

Cam Wyllie:
Cam Wyllie is Canada’s beloved Sketch Comedy Maniac, with 3 Canadian Comedy Award Nominations, Festival Appearances all over North America, and a bunch of Comedy Awards with made up sounding names.
He’s coming in hot with a carefully curated selection of brave, tragic, and gleefully dumb characters who, like him, are just trying to do their best. Armed with a passable singing voice, a can do attitude, and the odd tinfoil prop, he’ll give you plenty of reasons to laugh, cheer, and get invested. Open your heart to the hilarious, often surreal, and always unpredictable world of Cam Wyllie.
