Chaos Bloom Theater’s Thank You Sketch
Thank You Sketch is the Chaos Bloom Theater house sketch team. It is our pleasure to participate in the 2024 Denver Sketch Festival and bring you a half hour of all-original sketch comedy. Directed by Amey Goerlich, the Thank You Sketch team writes and performs a monthly hour-long show of original live and recorded sketches. Come see us in Denver at 70 South Broadway for our next show on the last Friday of the month.

Darrin Schultz: Alaska’s Favorite Son
Darrin Schultz (he/him), is a long time member of the Seattle, Washington sketch scene, and has performed all over North America at sketch festivals in Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Toronto, and Washington D.C. He strives to use comedy to dissect real world events or concepts with an "informative nonsense" style. You’re definitely going to learn something, but it’s unclear what or why. More often than not, he is working on producing shows and touring with his sketch group, Maple Daddies. Please tell him where the good bird watching is.

Price: $18/advance and $20/door, ticketing fee

9:00 p.m - 10:00 p.m: Group Shower (Portland) and Bedtime Worldwide (Denver)

Group Shower:
Group Shower is a Portland, Oregon-based comedy troupe consisting of Andrew Kathan, Megan Reay, James Seminara, Tessa Waring, and Lucas Salazar. Performing together for over 2 years, these five close friends toe the line between raunchy and loveable as they display their chemistry both on stage and off. Oft labeled "a handsy team," their intimacy shines through to create a piece that wouldn’t make sense anywhere else but right here. Past performances have been at the 2024 Portland Sketch Comedy Festival, the 2024 Shady Pines Festival, the 2023 Shady Pines Festival, at Kickstand Comedy, and at the Curious Comedy Theater.

Bedtime Worldwide:
Bedtime Worldwide is a Denver, CO based comedy and production group. Specializing in live and digital production, BTWW has been performing and creating shows, sketches, and more since 2021. Bedtime Worldwide - Come Sleep With Us.

Price: $18/advance and $20/door, ticketing fee

10:00 p.m - 11:00 p.m: Vivek Srikanthan (Toronto) and Better Binness Bros (DC)

Vivek Srikanthan:
Vivek Srikanthan doesn’t know who he is or what he wants, so he’s deciding to leave it up to you. Join him as he comedically and painfully pulls apart his life, history, relationships, ethnicity, and family as he struggles to understand himself in this meta-fictional, idiotic, self-deprecating solo sketch comedy revue. A graduate of the Second City Toronto Writing Program, Vivek has previously performed at the Toronto Sketchfest, Toronto Fringe Festival, and Montreal Sketchfest (all 2023) as part of the troupe Try-Racial. He was a semi-finalist in Toronto’s Sketch to the Death competition, and has performed at Toronto Sketchfest and Montreal Sketchfest (2024) for his solo work.

Better Binness Bros:
The Better Binness Bros. are business-bettering brothers from other mothers. They delight audiences with outrageous characters, aggressively silly presentation bits, and absurd video sketches. Lend them your ears, lend them your time, lend them your wallets, and they will show you how to better your broken business and even how to better your life. Since before the pandemic, comedians Conor Mittelstadt and Langdon Page have been making comedy together. They started as surrealist online sketch duo Homeless Fireparty, but they are best known as The Better Binness Bros. The duo has performed shows around the country at venues like the DC Improv, QED and The PIT in New York City, and as part of Philly Sketchfest and Sketchfest Seattle.

Price: $18/advance and $20/door, ticketing fee
