Call for Entries: TRE's 60th Anniversary Art Show and Sale

Dear Local Artist,

The Resource Exchange (TRE) is thrilled to announce our upcoming 60th Anniversary Art Show, set to take place on September 19 at our location on Corporate Drive in Colorado Springs. As part of our celebratory kickoff event for our 60th year and the launch of our Capital Campaign, we're hosting an unforgettable evening filled with art, food, live music and community spirit.

We invite you to be a part of this momentous occasion by contributing your artistic talents to our showcase. The theme of the art pieces for this event is "Trees," stemming from our beloved logo, symbolizing growth, resilience, and the interconnectedness of our community with nature and one another. Whether your medium is painting, photography, mixed-media, or sculpture, we encourage you to interpret the theme in your unique style.

While showcasing local talent, all pieces will be available for purchase during the event. Artists will receive a commission for their sold works, with 40% going to the artist, and 60% of the proceeds going to TRE – a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.

We will be inviting TRE clients to participate in the show as well. This event is an opportunity for

local artists to not only display their work but also to support TRE's mission of advocating for

independence and inclusion, TRE partners with children and adults who have a variety of

disabilities and mental health care needs. Your participation will directly contribute to our efforts in providing vital resources and support to our community.

To submit your artwork for consideration, please fill out the attached form as your intent to enter the show and send it to ceteam@tre.org by July 31, 2024. Please note that TRE reserves the right to decline any pieces for any reason. Artwork drop off will take place on August 29 and 30.
