Visit Hilton Anaheim’s Dia de los Muertos ‘Canvas Conversations’ Art Exhibit!
Hilton Anaheim invites the Anaheim and Orange County community to experience the vibrant, cultural tradition of Dia de los Muertos through a stunning gallery exhibition displayed across the main and lower lobby. Showcasing works from talented local artists, the display features a variety of paintings, sculptures, and mixed media pieces that honor the memories of loved ones who have passed. Each artist brings their own perspective to the theme, creating a poignant and visually stunning tribute that reflects the spirit of this cherished holiday. Curated by Britt Samuels Jr., the exhibition highlights both traditional and contemporary interpretations of the holiday, connecting the greater community with meaningful cultural experiences. The Dia de los Muertos exhibit is the latest installment of Hilton Anaheim’s rotating ‘Canvas Conversations’ art exhibit, the hotel's broader initiative to connect the community with meaningful cultural experiences.
The artists showcased within the exhibit include: Paul Montelongo, Hector Silva, Albertina Norman, Stephan Gil, Michelle Taylor, Keely Zamora, Jesse Fregozo, Darlene Pulido, Lauren Valantine, Ruben Hernandez, and Chloe Suos.
Along with the exhibition, Hilton Anaheim will be celebrating Dia de los Muertos with a reception on November 2nd from 7-10pm with live music and traditional Mexican refreshments. The Hilton Anaheim invites art lovers, families, and the community at large to come together in celebrating the vibrant traditions of Dia de los Muertos.
