Join us for the 12th Annual Turkey Trot Los Angeles located in Downtown Los Angeles. This event offers a 5k, 10k, Widdle Wobble, and One Mile Dog Jog on Thanksgiving morning with a post event festival located in Grand Park.

See Los Angeles like you’ve never seen it before. Imagine no morning traffic, watching the morning arrive and running past historic buildings like the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

We encourage friends and family to participate by offering a 10% discount when you register four or more people. Discount applied at checkout.

This is the day to run for those in need – to run for those who will be truly thankful for your sweat and determination!

You will be running to provide meals to the thousands who are hungry.

By supporting the work of the Midnight Mission, you will boost a cause that:

-- Offers the 12-step philosophy approach to recovery.
-- Serves homeless people with empathy and respect.
-- Provides services as an independent human service organization.

With the support of our partner, UAE USA United, and alongside our incredible community, YOU can make a difference in the lives of our homeless neighbors.

Since 2016, UAE USA United has proudly worked with The Midnight Mission to provide a Thanksgiving for everyone.

Thanksgiving Day Schedule

ARRIVE EARLY! With so many people checking in on race morning, please arrive early to allow plenty of time to park, pick up race bib/t-shirt, and get to the start line. Race day packet pick up opens at 6:00 AM.

6:00 a.m. – Packet Pick Up Opens for the 5k , 10k, and One Mile Dog Jog located in Grand Park.

7:30 a.m. – Dog Jog Start

8:00 a.m. – 1st Wave / 5k Start – no dogs on this course allowed.

8:15 a.m. – 2nd Wave / 5k Start – no dogs on this course allowed.

9:00 a.m. – 10k Start – no dogs on this course allowed.

9:15 a.m. – 5k Awards for Overall Winners on Stage. Age group awards are available for pick up at the Awards Tent.

9:15 a.m. – Packet Pick Up Open for Widdle Wobble located in Grand Park.

10:00 a.m. – 10k Awards for Overall Winners on Stage. Age group awards are available for be pick up at the Awards Tent.

10:15 a.m. – Widdle Wobble Start – no dogs on this course allowed.

Course / Maps

5k CourseCan we say fast, fun and scenic? The race starts in front of City Hall and loops up and around Grand Park, past Disney Hall and Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. After a nice downhill, participants will be treated to a historic course along Spring Street, referred to as the Wall Street of the West! You’ll past by such notable buildings as the Contintental Building (LA’s first skyscraper), The Hellman Building, El Dorado Hotel, Crocker Bank and more. Runners do a U-Turn at 9th Street and then return to City Hall / Grand Park for the finish (there’s a small uphill near the finish)!

10k CourseLike doing 5ks and want to go longer? Then do the 10k. This ‘hilly’ course does portions of the 5k with added mileage on Grand Ave,, and First St. You’ll get to run by the Broad Museum, Disney Hall and Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. The race starts in front of City Hall and loops up and around Bunker Hill, the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels and into Historic Filipino Town! After a nice downhill, participants will be treated to a historic course along Spring Street, referred to as the Wall Street of the West! You’ll past by such notable buildings as the Contintental Building (LA’s first skyscraper), The Hellman Building, El Dorado Hotel, Crocker Bank and more. Runners do a U-Turn at 9th Street and then return to City Hall / Grand Park for the finish (there’s a small uphill near the finish)!

Dog Jog CourseThis is a one mile out at back along historic Spring Street. ALL DOGS MUST BE ON LEASHES! We’ll have doggie bowls at the Water Station!

Widdle Wobble CourseThis is a quick 1/4 mile run/walk/wobble for kids of all ages. Parents are welcome to join. It’s cute and it’s fun. Widdle Wobble Medals for all the kids!
