In partnership with San Diego Metropolitan Transit System, San Diego Dance Theater presents an interesting new way to tour the city. SDDT has presented Trolley Dances™ for over 25 years. Trolley Dances™ was created by former Artistic Director Jean Isaacs to make dance accessible to our entire community by taking art “to the people.” Each fall, tour guides lead groups of audience members on and off the trolley to view original pieces of site-specific choreography. More than 50 community and company dancers perform at various sites. Join us as we highlight our city's beautiful community, culture, and diversity through dance!

This year's Trolley Dances™ will be held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28th & 29th on the Green Line trolley. Tours will begin at Old Town with stops at Gaslamp Quarter, Convention Center and Seaport Village.
This year's choreographers include Monica Bill Barnes, bkSoul with TranscenDANCE Youth Arts Project, ConnectArte, Miroslava Wilson, and Jean Isaacs

$40 General Admission
$25 Discounted rate for seniors, working artists, students, and military.
Children 8 years and under may ride and join the tour for free with a paid adult.
